Pursonal Touch Beaded Purse Repair - Mansion Scenic Beaded Purse

Before.....

Oh what a beauty this one is. It made my toes curl when I received it for restoration. You can see she had a large hole the size of a nickle in the front, and several holes along the frame line. This purse was dirty and bunched looking due to the fact that it had been re-lined without removing the old lining first.

After......

Once I removed the old linings, I cleaned and re-shaped the purse before proceeding with the hole repairs. I put in a new lining of vintage peach satin similar in color to the original along with vintage trim. The fringe chosen was a permanent twist syle with very little spacing. I designed a combinatin that was a graduation in colors similar to the colors in the purse. When completed, it was a perfect and subtle extension of the lake.

Below is the section where the large hole was. I flipped this side around to the back of the purse when reattaching to the frame.
